With Pride Celebrations and Parades cancelled around the State of Florida including St. Pete's always lively annual festivities, St. Pete resident Rachel Covello of OutCoast Travel put together this video sharing Happy Pride messages from around the state as a "next best thing." The video features Richard Gray, Senior Vice President, Greater Florida CVB; Steve Hodges, President, Visit St. Pete Clearwater; Selisse Berry, Founder, Out & Equal; John Tanzella, President, IGTLA; Josie Smith Malone, Celebrity Chef, Bubbles & Pearls, and many more. St. Pete's annual Pride parade attracted 265,000 attendees last year. Most Florida Pride events have been rescheduled for 2021 due to Coronavirus.

In a smart solution to social distancing, the Flaming Lips put Wayne Coyne's signature bubles to good use when they performed their song, "Race For The Prize" on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. In a change from typical performances on the remote edition of the show, in which each band member performs in a separate space on a separate camera, The Flaming Lips performed together on the same stage, with each band member enclosed in their own bubble, in front of an audience that was also each enclosed in an individual bubble.

Lady Gaga's latest album Chromatica rose to the #1 spot on Album charts last week. It is Lady Gaga's sixth #1 album. She has said the album is not dystopiian, or utopian, but her way of making sense of things. In the Chromatica interview with Zane Lowe above, she talks about her creative process, her mental health journey and about working with collaborators Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK and Elton John. You can listen to the full album here. ABOVE: Lady Gaga Enigma, Super Saturday Night, Las Vegas, Full Show.

Thirty years later, Bill & Ted are back to continue their still unfulfilled task of saving the world with their band, Wyld Stallions. In Bill and Ted Face The Music, due out on August 21, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter return in the title roles. Kid Cudi, Anthony Carrigan, Kristen Schaal and Beck Bennett also appear.

The Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye, made a personal financial statement of support on Music Industry Blackout Tuesday last week, giving $500,000 to a number of causes that address racial equality, and calling on others to do the same, writing on Twitter on June 1, “To my fellow respected industry partners and execs — no one profits off of black music more than the labels and streaming services. I gave yesterday and I urge you to go big and public with yours this week. It would mean the world to me and the community if you can join us.” #MUSICINDUSTRYBLACKOUTTUESDAY and #THESHOWMUSTBEPAUSED, marked a day of silent protest asking the music business to reflect on ways to support the black community and stopping "business as usual" for the day.

Tampa Bay residents enjoyed re-opened bars over the weekend. Meanwhile, streaming events continue, with more performances, new presenters and the evolution of ticketed live streams.

Pink Floyd frontmen David Gilmour and Roger Waters have been drawn into yet another tiff in their 30-year history of negative discourse. Waters claimed in a video posted Tuesday on YouTube titled "ANNOUNCEMENT" that his x-bandmate has cut off his access to the Pink Floyd web site and that he "thinks he owns" the Pink Floyd web site. He added in the comment below that when he says website, he also means the Facebook page and all the rest. Waters says that nothing from him appears on the site, and that he is banned by Gilmour from it. He went on the say that he thinks Gilmour thinks that since Waters left the band in 1985, that he, David Gilmour, is Pink Floyd and that Waters is irrelevant and that he should keep his mouth shut. Waters also said that the Pink Floyd Facebook page won't post any of the solo versions of Pink Floyd songs that he has shared while in quarantine. Here is his cover of John Prine's "Paradise" now. Gilmour's VonTrapped quarantine livestream recently included covers of some Leonard Cohen songs and a tribute to fallen Pink Floyd member Syd Barret. Waters sued his former band members over the use of the Pink Floyd name in 1985 and they won. The entire band has appeared on stage a few times since. ABOVE: Pink Floyd "Money" OFFICIAL VIDEO

They have not announced the payment system that will be used or the start date of these changes. Livestream performances have become the global solution to the current pandemic confinement.
